We’re launching bETA Triangle, our first accelerator in North Carolina.
bETA (Bridging Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition) is a hands-on accelerator built to support entrepreneurs in acquiring and growing existing small businesses.
For the first time we will be offering bETA Triangle to serve individuals in North Carolina, thanks to support from the Gates Foundation. bETA combines practical education with real-world guidance to help you confidently navigate the path to business ownership. Over the course of nine modules, you’ll gain the tools and knowledge needed to find, buy, and run a business—no MBA required.
The accelerator includes a mix of weekly online classes and virtual coaching (about 12 hours/week), plus three in-person gatherings:
-
A two-day Orientation to kickstart your journey
-
A mid-point workshop and business site visit to apply what you’re learning
-
A Graduation Ceremony to celebrate your progress and plan your next steps
Each module covers a critical piece of the process—from sourcing the right opportunity and evaluating deals, to securing funding and leading operations once you take over.
If you’re ready to take control of your future through entrepreneurship, bETA is here to help you get there.
Here is what is covered each week:
- Orientation Intro to ETA: Search models, Why You, and the ETA process
- Finding the Right Business How to find deals, a target, and where to look
- Finance & Valuation Financial due diligence, operational due diligence, Confidential Information Memorandums (CIM)
