Expanding Pathways to Business Ownership.
New Majority Capital Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to business ownership as a pathway to economic stability and wealth creation.
We focus on entrepreneurship through acquisition (ETA), supporting both aspiring entrepreneurs and current business owners navigating transition. Through education, network access, research, and financial support, the Foundation helps reduce the structural and informational barriers that prevent capable individuals from pursuing ownership.
Our Role in the Ownership Ecosystem
Business ownership remains one of the most durable tools for building wealth and sustaining local economies, yet access to ownership opportunities is uneven.
The Foundation plays a unique role in the ETA ecosystem by:
- Enabling the education of aspiring acquirers
- Helping current owners plan thoughtful transitions
- Supporting research that strengthens the field
- Connecting underrepresented entrepreneurs with financial tools, removing barriers to ownership
By working across these layers, the Foundation helps create conditions where ownership transitions are more accessible and equitable.
New Majority Capital: Foundation and Fund
New Majority Capital operates through two aligned but independent entities that support different parts of the ownership ecosystem.
The New Majority Capital Foundation is a nonprofit focused on enabling education, research, and ecosystem support. It funds programs and initiatives that prepare entrepreneurs for ownership, support business transitions, and strengthen the broader entrepreneurship through acquisition (ETA) landscape.
New Majority Capital is a Benefit Corporation that operates investment vehicles to enable acquisitions.
Together, New Majority Capital and the Foundation advance a shared vision of expanding access to business ownership, while operating separately with distinct structures, goals, and sources of capital.
Our Work at Scale
Since its founding in 2022, the Foundation has supported programming and initiatives across the U.S., engaging hundreds of entrepreneurs, business owners, and ecosystem partners.
The Foundation is scaling nationally, launching new cohorts and expanding research across the country. Our goal is to serve 10,000 entrepreneurs and enable billions of dollars in economic value by expanding access to business ownership.
